What can an unarmed officer actually do in an incident?
They observe, record, raise the alarm, secure people and keep the situation calm while armed response and SAPS are called. They are trained not to escalate a confrontation they cannot safely control.
How many officers will I need?
It depends on the size of the site, the number of entry points and whether you need 24-hour cover. We tell you after the free site visit — we will not quote extra posts you do not need.
Do officers work night shifts?
Yes. We run day and night shifts with proper relief, so no officer is left on duty beyond a safe shift length.
How do I know the officer is awake and on post?
Supervisors do unannounced site visits during shifts, occurrence books are signed through the night, and you get reports. If an officer is not performing, tell us and we replace them.
